How to connect to Tello drone via Swift?

I am working on an app (currently for MacOS) to accomplish tasks such as controlling the Tello drone, getting information from it, and automating flights with pre-written instructions. I can successfully talk to the drone on Swift Playgrounds, using the Tello EDU add-on, but I cannot see how this educational add-on could be implemented into a full app.

Does anyone know how to connect to the Tello drone and send/receive information from it, like I was able to do with the Tello EDU add-on, in a regular Swift app? Help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

There are a couple of open source Swift Tello libraries for connecting to the Tello drone on GitHub.

1. Liuxuan30/TelloSwift
2. Bgromov/TelloSwift

I have used the first successfully in an app as it was very straight forward to use. The Github pages provide example code on how to install and use. I can't comment on the second, but is an alternative to consider.
