Jerky Movement

I just bought a Tello and I like the hovering capabilities of the Tello but the movement is rather jerky in its movement. I have calibrated the unit but that doesn’t seem to help. Is this normal?

I have the same issue, but only when I'm outdoors and it's windy. Indoors it flies relatively smoothly.

I also fly a MAVIC,Spark and Phantom 3S and I realize a $99 drone isn’t in those categories but when moving in any direction using the T1d controller it jerks rapidly to any direction. I wondered if I was overlooking something to slow those actions.

I use a cheap gaming stick (not an affiliate link) to fly my Tello, if it means anything. Having a tactile stick may help in controlling the jerky behaviour.

Thanks Capn, I did both calibrations doing the hover calibration corrected the drifting and jerky flight on yaw and left/right flying.
