Thanks so much - and I very much want to post the video on how to configure the tp-link AC750 that was used to film much of this video.

But check this out.

The AC750 is a dual band repeater. The Tello connects to it at 2.4Ghz. From there, you can connect your phone (assuming it is able) at 5Ghz to the router.

The result is a very flicker/freeze/snowy/etc-free video. Check it out:

How are you powering the repeater ?

Oh that....a little usb power bank. Lasts for days! I use it to recharge the Tello too - just in case I find another thing to video along the way! Fairly inexpensive items. Mine has 2 usb outlets - I can recharge 2 things at one time.
