I'm about to purchase a Tello, but will wait if a Tello 2 in imminent. Is there any news about an improved Tello with 1080p, SD/DVR, controller, etc.? Thanks!

Nope. The Tello EDU was an improvement on the originals programming/sensor capabilities, but no more news beyond that.

hello, I don't think there will be a tello 2 ... at the moment there is no news on this project from Ryze. I can advise you to take the tello and TelloFPV and I'm sure it will give you a lot of satisfaction! if you are looking for something more and you can spend more, I recommend Mavic mini.

Where there hardware improvements in the Tello EDU? Is the simple kids programming like DRONEBLOCKS that's in the EDU also available in the basic Tello? I'm trying to figure out what is it about the EDU that makes it worth 30% more. The basic/original Tello with extra batts and 1S controller can be gotten for $180. But there are no such "combos" for the EDU. I do want to do programming with my granddaughter. Just trying to figure the best bang for the buck. If the EDU has better performance/control/stabilization I'm happy to pop for the extra dollars. Thanks.
