Tello app crashing on android 10.

I just install the tello app on my oneplus 7 and it doesn't open . it always crash ... however it worked fine on android 9

That is a known problem. No fix available, and I doubt Ryze are working on it.
You have to use a supported phone or get a 3rd party app.

Perfect excuse to go ahead and get Tellofpv
It's 10x better than the OEM app anyway... you'll like it

If you have a new Tello, you must first "authorize" it (why?) and this can only be done with the original app.

My rescue was bluestacks (an Android emulator for the PC).
Authorized Tello with the original app on the PC.
Now I use Tello FPV and aTelloPilot.
