New Batteries

Its getting harder to find good Tello batteries these days. Many shops now sell batteries that are years old.

I just stumbled over a post in a German forum linking a shop that seems sell really fresh batteries. The user posted a photo of his battery and it was produced Nov 2024 !

Expensive, I know. But at least fresh.

If you decide to buy at that shop please confirm if you receive fresh battery ( the age is on the sticker)

Hallo Tello-Freunde,

Der Shop bei Aliexpress ist sehr vertrauenswürdig, ein neuer originaler Tello-Akku wurde in nur 12 Tagen geliefert. Informationen zum Transportverlauf werden per E-Mail gesendet, mein bestellter Akku hatte einen schnellen und angenehmen Flug.
Nach dem ersten Laden wurden 100% Ladung in der TelloFPV App angezeigt, mein Tello flog 12:45 Minuten ohne Propellerschutz und es wurden 3 Fotos im Innenbereich gemacht.
Danke an den Autor des Beitrags im deutschen Forum, ich kann mich nur anschließen und vielleicht ist das wirklich die letzte Möglichkeit, neue originale Tello-Akkus zu kaufen.

My battery arrived as well. Manufaturing date 18th Nov 2024 and performace just like yours.

Hmm, not the same supplier but I can support the comment that many vendors are selling off older batteries, a recent purchase in Canada from DroneDynamics netted me a "new" battery with a July 1, 2022 manufacture date. A three year old battery .... I'll have to wait and see how it performs.
