Thanks, one thing to note, when I was flying over water if I stopped for to long the Tello would drift in the same direction as the water was flowing, in this case would have been backwards, because of the optical sensor on the bottom. Plus I was actually walking on bank as I flew upstream just in case lol.

Very true. If you are not moving it does drift more over water..

Normally I'd use a different drone over water, but this was a spur of the moment thing, and only had tello with me.
