    I will recommend getting a MI wifi extender if using an cheap android phone as I tried with a Samsung galaxy A8 the range will drop out if using the Tello app to control

    sorry for wasting your time as this is now solved I have returned the drone as there were more errors like motors failed and I exchanged the drone thanks for the reply
