Fast Descent activates auto land?

Since i fly from a 5 story building and use TALS, whenever i want to quick descent an emergency i.e. high winds during high altitude flight why does it trigger the auto land feature? Is there like any way to disable this as i want to pull out of the descent to and land it back inside the rooftop
Does anyone also experience this issue?
