Hello! I'm a first-time drone pilot / owner. I chose the Tello because of the review on Wirecutter.com for best introductory drone.

I'm very pleased with it so far. It's a fun little bird, and I'm hoping to learn more about flying it.

I purchased the $128 drone + controller kit from Amazon.com -- 1 x Tello, 1 x Gamesir T1D controller.

I fly with an iPhone 8 Plus.

Good choice. I would recommend flying with and without the controller- just in case
