Optimising Android for TelloFPV- some tips

Hey everyone. Newb quad pilot here, but android tinkerer.

I have some advice for android users on how to increase stability, free up processor power and reduce data flow.

If you go to Apps, and then one by one click on an app you can change various permissions. Im always doing this depending on my current phone useage i.e. gaming, movie making, and now tello.

In each app you can normally-
- turn off notifications.
- turn off always on top.
- turn off run services in background.
- turn off permissions, such as phone, sms, etc.

MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT TURN OFF ESSENTIAL APPS. Google search any you are unsure of.

And finally, in dev options if you click on the memory useage text you can see whats using RAM. If theres apps using RAM you can choose to uninstall, disable or whatever.

In dev options you can also turn off window animations, force it use the graphic processor and other handy stuff. Again, do a google search if yourd unsure.

Ive done everything possible to stream line my phone and Ive yet to experience any form of lag or bitrate issue on my two maiden flights.
