Yeah mines doing the same thing and it’s definitely getting toasty. Just hope this doesn’t happen in flightWill someone please try this and let me know if this is "normal"?
Turn on Tello and connect. Don't fly. Wait for a minute or two. See if it shuts off due to overheat.

Mine gives the same message and shuts down after a few minutes. My understanding was this normal. The message I get says Tello has not flown for 1 minute and will shut down.Cool. I'm interested to hear what they say. Still curious if it's every Tello or just a minority that overheats? I may contact them as well.
The Tello is designed to direct cooling air from the propwash onto the pcb and keep it cool during flight but not when it’s idle. It usually only takes me 20-30 seconds to get it airborne.Yeah mines doing the same thing and it’s definitely getting toasty. Just hope this doesn’t happen in flight
