PS4 Controller - Anlog Stick only works like digital one

Hi there,
I managed to connect a PS4 controller to my Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and now I am able to use it with the Tello FPV App. It works quite fine to fly the tello with the controller. But when I use the analog Sticks, they work like digital stick. That mean if I push the left stick up, the tello fly forward in full speed. I am not able to fly the tello slow by pushing the analog stick half way forward. It is the same with the other analog stick when turing the drone around, no slow or smooth turning arround is possible.
Does anyone has an idea to fix this?

your controller has different modes: Binary and proportional. Most likely you have to press some button combinations to connect it in proportional mode.

Which buttons only the manual knows - or some google search for the exact model of the controller


TelloFpv is not the right app to test this - you are facing a generic controller problem, not a TelloFpv problem. Use a normal gamepad tester app, once it works it will also work in telloFpv (you may need to re-do the stick mapping)
