Hello, I'm Bob from New Orleans, and I love my tello. What's amazing is how I still have it after nearly losing it 3 or 4 times to flyaways, and (low altitude) crashing it several times. It is one tough little drone. I do have a question: if VPS is not working, does the "stop" button work. I have tello fvp

I think I answered my own quesiton: when VPS is out, there's no RTH, or STOP. You're lucky to control it at all, especially in wind. My advice, never let it out of your sight. If you must pay attention to the camera feed, have a spotter along!

Correct. No VPS means the drone is just plain dumb and doesn't know what it is doing.

The stop button can be used for emergency motor stop, which helps with fly aways due to wind, or low light.
