Rakesh from India. New Tello Pilot

Hello guys,

I am Rakesh Raja from India. I got Tello today. Very happy with the performance. Only problem so far I am having is, its not performing well outdoor. Slight wind blast making problems for it.

I just got one battery. I haven't done detail outdoor flight. Is it wise to get more batteries?

Welcome Rakesh. Congratulations on your purchase.

The Tello is capable of handling some wind. Just don't take it to too high of an altitude as you may lose control of the drone (for a variety of reasons). Enabling sports mode also helps to change the attitude angle and cuts into the wind better.

Definitely acquire more batteries for a more enjoyable and longer flight experience.

As you progress, perhaps a (wired) controller and extender/repeater to add to your flying kit.
