Fw limit. They call it failsafe protection by forcing landing if u have no active vps over 6m from takeoff point. Cannot be cancelled until it is less than 6m or vps becomes active which them it automatically halts landing. It doesn’t really land either, just hover 30cm above a solid surface.

It is in the firmware, you can only tell ryze you would like it removed. The altimeter you mentioned is barometer. As far as I can see it is ok accurate.So if this failsafe is removed then tello can hover at the same height?

The black spheres consists of one ir emitter that glows and a receiver. I donno about breeze.Are those infared sensors underneath it like Breeze and many others.
