Is the Samsung Galaxy J6+ compatible with the Tello app? This phone was just launched in Sep 2018. But the app does not display the drone cam footage live in the app screen.

Hello :)

Sometimes the apps don't work for all devices yet until they do updates and add devices to the list.

You may want to try this app and see if it helps you while you wait..... I found it to be great.

Best of luck (fingers crossed)

It is just a demo so you do not have to pay for it, And if it works for you, Great, They have a paid version on google play as well.

Oh wow... thanks... I did not know that there were other apps designed to work with the DJI Tello drone... amazing... thanks!

I've only used the 'internet' to download the APP...
The Tello has its own wifi sys, and so does your smart phone,
weather an IOS or Android...
The smart phone is connected to the Aircraft thru its own connection,
with no need for the internet. If you have a 'Gamsir T1d' controller, then
that is connected thru Bluetooth.
Ergo, no need for the internet. I get that alert/error all the time when
connecting. but it goes away when I'm finally up and running.

hope this helps.............K
