Tello Drone update

Hello from South Africa! I'd like to update the firmware on Tello. I'm using Huawei Y6pro cellphone and my internet stops as soon as I connect to Tello via the App. Is there another way I can update the drone?

Go into the app WITHOUT connecting to the Tello so that you still have internet access.
Go into the firmware update section to DOWNLOAD the firmware update.
Once it is downloaded, connect to the Tello.
Go again into the firmware update section and now APPLY the firmware update.
Power cycle the Tello for good measure.

The process was so simple was left embarrassed!

This part I cannot pass. When I reached this part, the Update button is unresponsive and does nothing until the Tello shuts down by itself. Perhaps due to inactivity.
