Hi,

I will be going for trip to Istanbul this November. I heard and read about the regulation on flying a drone in Turkey. It said that only for UAV more than 500g need to register. Can i bring Tello to Istanbul? can i fly it there? What about the airport things? Thanks guys.

drones below 400 grams in weight are legally classified as toys therefore do not require a license in Turkey. There is a gray area regarding flying in crowded zones, although the rules do not prohibit sub 400 gram drones being flown in such circumstances local authorities might apply their own reasoning as this is not a clearly defined part of the law. Use common sense, avoid crowded, congested spaces and you should be allright.

Thanks! Much appreciated!
