Adding a second camera using a Raspberry Pi Zero

Hi, did you finally have success with that mod ? Would you agree to upload a video ? I am very curious to see the result...
Very sadly not. It literally rained every day and was storming or I was ill. One day it was nice weather, and I tried it, but it somehow didn't record...
But as soon as it's good weather and I'm not ill anymore, I will do it!

You can use Zero without pins to lower it's weight - Raspberry have resellers in some countries, so base model (without pin connectors) cost only 5$.
Also try putting some custom cables to reduce lift disturbance on usb connector side (it might be causing a lot of instabilities during the flight).
Additionally, if you need more stable video, try to remove protectors - they reduce performance a lot, especially with windy weather.
I'm finishing my own setup with some extra features, will keep you guys posted.

My version. I have problem with power, custom micro USB cable without data (and with id trace connected to ground) will not provide enough power to go pass booting the camera (this is a stock raspberry pi camera v1.3).
