Photo quality

Looking at photos some people took and video. Seems very good. Mine is grainy and low resolution. What can i do to fix this? Could lighting have something to do with it. I noticed you can change the setting from auto to high mp . how does this effect things?

lighting have a major effect on photo quality, also check camera lense for defects.

And make sure to put photo quality settings to high on the app.
