What's going to happen out of range, it will still lose connection to phone app. Does it auto land then?

From experience I can tell you , in case of a lost connection the tello just holds position until the battery gets low then it autolands.

You lost signal so quickly... And in fact you had fixed 90db because the only repeater was onboard.
Look like worst than extender on earth. So i think signal of Tello is stronger than the smarphone's.

Yes bitrate makes a difference. Low bitrate = more range.
Best case scenario is that the repeater is orientated vertically with a flat side facing you.

For max range use 1mbps and 0s iframes.

Really happy with range... Although did stop it at 50 percent battery, to turn around. Battery mod next I think.
