I think it is possible with trim buttons even though they are not supposed to do itHello bluejune, I've bought your app and looks great. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to make my Tello to fly in constant speed and ascent for making some cinematic shots. Is it possible to use the trim buttons for this? If so, is it possible to reset trims somehow (something quicker than placing it to center position by clicking trim buttons) to stop the movement? Thanks for the reply.
May decrease sensitivity controller in the setting can help too for that (low sensivity could allow to use max stick position for slow constant speed) ?I think it is possible with trim buttons even though they are not supposed to do it
trims can be reset instantly if you double click the stick marker.
Refer to below wiki, it will help you find stick marker and how to reset trims.

Answering to myself:
.DAT files can be revised using free CsvView Windows application
CsvView/DatCon
A lot of data to analyze. MVO: posX and MVO: posY looks very promising as they indicate the position of tello during flight.
I have managed to export them to a .csv file that can be exploited into a simple excel sheet using 'file/export csv' option into CsvView.

This is enough for me to play a little.

not trimmers but stick markers..great, thanks. double tapping the trimmers was the only thing I didn't try ?. I think it could do the trick. All I know that with the onscreen joysticks is the slow or straightforward movement really hard thing to do.
Refer to "Has anyone decoded the log headers/messages from the Tello?" threads.I got it !
I have managed to plot Tello's track along a saved flight log.
Only tools needed is csvView and Microsoft Excel (and of course aTelloPilot with flight log active)

I still need to find out what units of measurement are used. They do not look like metrics or imperials. Can somebody help me ?

------
MVO data is not stable enough.. - data are valid only when ambient light condition is good : flags = _payload.getUnsignedByte(76) : flags are valid, it was always 8 when it is not taken-off - position is (0, 0) where the drone is powered on : can not find to reset the position - MVO_X and MVO_Y order seems reversed : When the drone is moved straight forward, the MVO_X data are changed. - the data unit is meter not centi meter(DataCon handles as Cm) |
Great newsI bought a GameSir T1D controller because there are too many requests to support it.
After decoding the bluetooth packets, it will be supported as Parrot FlyPad.
Isn't it because of the tellopilots videos frame rate which is not conventionnel ? (not exactly 30fps). I wrote about that few posts ago.
Hi, you have to go to the setting, check if face detection library is available on your phone, and put on the video processing. Then the face tracking will appear.Hi Bluejune,
I cant find the face tracking button in the three-dot menu, just like the screenshot picture shows.
What shall I do to get it work? Thanks.View attachment 1293
