another Tello Pilot (Android App)

i cant click on the "controller" button, i mean, on the initial screen, i cant link with my tello (im in tello wifi)
what im missing?
im running your app on nvidia shield tablet with android 8.0

i fond out that the app wasnt needed to be connected manually to the drone, forget my question, already solved, ty anyway

That's really just plug and play. I use the original micro USB cable from GameSir and the original OTG Adapter from Samsung that came with the phone. The controller turns on automatically and I did no configuration on the phone, it just works.

You can test it without the drone connected in the control mode and the sticks in the stick calibration screen.
I ordered some shorter cables on AliExpress with the right connectors.

Can you confirm controller bluetooth is totally disabled when using OTG cable connection ?

As I would like maximum wifi range, I need zero interference.

Turn bluetooth off on your Android device.. no bluetooth transaction between device and controller will interfere nothing..
Actually the interference comes from 2.4GHz bt wifi combo on Android device.
Most device stop one of them while working so it causes the problem.

Did you open the setting? inside setting you can scan WiFi search for your Tello

Click setting icon 1st... inside you can scan for WiFi...look for your Tello

A question... With "game controllers" you mean also Gamesir T1 for example? It's more cheaper and no wireless (i want to skip any possibility of disturb) i think to have understood...

So your work, buying the T1d, was for give the possibility of wireless connection with it? Understood.

I can't confirm, but it looks like it's so. Also I disable BT on the phone itself.

What exactly is an otg cable?
I own a HTC u11 Phone, which cable do I need? Sorry but I dont have any Knowledge about that...
