I've been flying a Mavic Air for awhile so I thought I'd try a Tello. It's pretty impressive for a low cost quad and the 720 camera takes respectable photos. It's a keeper.

Yes, the Tello is a nice little copter with a couple of features for this price. If you want to improve the features install the app TelloFPV. You will have a lot of fun with that.

TelloFPV is not in the iOS app store (?)

I own several drones but the one I bring for photography sessions is always the Tello. Easily one of the best camera drones.

I have another app waiting for approval by apple, but the reject it and ask for an authorization letter by ryze... looks like ryze instructed apple to not allow my apps on iOS.

Get a cheap Android phone. I’m just starting out with my Tello, but if I get into enough I’m going to get an Android and try FPV app. Or, take a friend that has it and try it out that way.
