New Tello Owner

Last weekend I was walking past the drone section in the local Fry's and happened to see that they had five Tellos on the shelf. I happened to have a $75.00 gift card with me so I bought one. I'm loving it so far. It's my first drone and I'm having a ball learning how to fly the darn thing. As a matter of fact I went back a couple of days ago and bought a second Tello so I'd have a spare battery. I'm getting the hang of the virtual joystick controls but would like to fly it with a real controller.

So far I've been using a Motorola G4 as a controller. It works well but tomorrow I think I'll try a Huaweii tablet and see if I like it better.

I've ordered two spare batteries, but they are backordered so it might be a while before I get them. My plan is to give the spare Tello to my son's stepkids when I get the extra batteries for mine. That is as long as I haven't managed to break mine before then!
