Propeller Upgrades

:-) thanks for the update - I'll stick to my original props and near original copies "Fybo" branded

have a good wekeend
I´ll buy one more last set of transparent GemFan 75-2s, if I order next time from the fpv webshop someting to my other drones. A few days ago got rid of a large amount of props and have no more new ones left. I keep this blue one as long, as the batteries work. That Tello has less, that 10 flights, almost new.
Have a good weekend you too

So to resurrect an old thread. I have returned to OEM props. I had problems with the Gemfan props flying off in flight or even slipping I suspect. I took my Tello out after not flying it in awhile and one of the props flew off. Put new Gemfan props on out of my old stash, tried to conduct a flip, worked several times then tried to flip to the right and it crashed.

I have since put the OEM blades back on and flips work just fine and everything works fine and no props getting loose. The OEM blades are just higher quality, fit tighter and are capped off at the top.

Yes, the Gemfan blades made the drone more responsive and more zippy but any of these aftermarket blades just fit looser and end up flying off with use. I miss the extra responsiveness and slightly more battery life. But just save your money and get an extra battery instead if you can still get them.
The OEM blades are just more robust how they mount.

Somebody mentioned the Neo as well and I have that and run the Master Airscrew blades and they are quieter. But with that the blades are fixed with screws so it dosent have the problem the Tello does with its friction fit.

After using the GemFan 75mm props for a month, I have to tell, that I'm very satisfied with them. The Tello is quieter and has longer flight time. With a relatively new battery made 12:40 flight time with moderate flying. On average 1 - 1,5 minutes more. The motor is not heating up. Very good props. Recommended.
But were can I get these
