Minor crash from 10 feet but 1 motor popped out completely and separated from drone. Everything else seems ok. So, for those who have replaced a motor how difficult is it really! I have seen the videos but really, do you need to be an expert at soldering or just a cheap iron and your back flying! New with 2 batteries under $95 on eBay a better idea?

Sounds like you can handle it. Magnifying glass helps and some good tweezers to pick the silicone off. Use a pointed object to make the hole for the wire bigger in the motor mount. Be sure not to damage the antenna wires in the rear legs or the camera ribbon cable and you're good to go. Have fun! ;)

I'm an old retired guy with aging eyes... easy with a little patience and good tweezers.
