Tellofpv and speed mode

Hi guys, I bought the full version of tellofpv. When i click the bottom little green V and then it turns to sports mode with the red S. It doesnt go any faster like the original app. Do j have to adjust something?

Also I noticed I get skip frames on my video feed. Should k change the bitrate from auto to like 2 or 3? Or maybe checkmark skip corrupt frames?

Should not be a need to adjust the default settings while toggling between Video and Sports mode. The Tello gets pretty zippy when switching to Sports mode. Just ask my prop guards how many times it has saved the Tello.

Try changing the Max Attitude setting if you want more gas or the Rate/Expo/Deadzone values under Tune Controls.

I have made a test: same take, with different bit rate settings: Auto, 4 Mb, 3 Mb, 2 Mb, 1 Mb and 0.5 Mb.- This provided me a better idea of how it works. Is interesting to press pause, to see the still frame of each setting. Regards Gabriel

Coupled with the Max Attitude setting, you'll find that the Tello will be much more responsive if you rise or hover to a higher altitude (e.g. 2 - 3 meters) then perform your maneuvers. Try doing "figure eights".

I figured it out, I just had to reinstall the app. All is good now

Perhaps the default options were changed. Did you try to clear the TelloFPV settings under Controller first?
