






It took me awhile, but I succeeded in getting the bird lit up for night time.. I found the light at my local home improvement center. I've used it as a nite lite, camping and in bed for reading, also..
As you can see from the pix, the weight is a big factor.. w/o the yellow and blue pieces, I couldn't get it to balance near the CG. Also w/ 30 grams more weight, it flies sluggish, and eats batteries quickly. In fact, sometimes the little motors are so hot, the bird just shuts down. So I let it cool off a bit.. Probably I'll just fly it one time at night, just to say "it works"..
